”Several students asked if we could have [a Halloween Extravaganza] since Fall Homecoming was so early in the school year,” says Dianne Kauth, student council sponsor.

The Iola High School student council has decided to put together a 2016 Halloween Extravaganza for Friday, October 28. The dance will start at 8 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. Tickets will be on sale for $5. The DJ that will be working the dance is Curtis Benelli, who DJ’d the fall homecoming last year. Since it is a Halloween dance, students are allowed to wear costumes if they’d like to. Masks are optional.
