Iola’s branch of the Community National Bank presented Iola High School’s Student Council with $400 on September 27 to help with fall homecoming expenses. The earned money comes from the visa cards community members take out from the bank. Each time someone requests a school mascot design debit card, $3 goes to the school. There are plenty of mascots to choose from if you aren’t an Iola Mustang.
Thank you to the Community National Bank for helping IHS’ homecoming dream come true. Homecoming is Saturday, October 1 at IHS from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
