There are many clubs at Iola High School, but one of the most popular is Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.). S.A.D.D. is a club that help kids be more aware of the differences between the good decisions and the bad decisions that teens can make, and how to prevent the bad decisions from happening. One example of a bad decision would be under-aged drinking. A good decision would be going on a walk or drinking water instead.
Why should you join S.A.D.D.? “I feel like everyone should have the information they need to make good decisions,” said freshman Marisa Van Houden. “It is a great organization.” Nervous about joining? “Just go for it, because you need more clubs to make more friends,” said Van Houden.
