“I have always wanted to attend Allen [Community College] so I could stay close to home for the first few years of college. I was looking into Ottawa University, but considering they are a four year college, it seemed a little more scarier jumping right into things away from home,” says senior and cheer captain Taylor Stout. “As far as what I want to major in, I would like to become a nurse,” Stout added. “I would like to attend Pittsburg State after going to Allen and finish my schooling there.”

Stout is excited to continue her cheer and dance with ACC.

The senior has received a scholarship from Allen Community College to represent the Lady Red Devils.

“Between dance and cheer, I am only giving out 24 scholarships to award athletes. When it comes to recruiting, I look for skill and the athlete’s potential, attitude and skill wise. Coachability and personality are major roles included also,” says head coach Chelsea Layman at ACC.

Stout will be starting the next step in her life at ACC the fall of 2017, cheering and dancing for Allen.
