Swinging into spring sports

Spring sports began their first official practices on February 27. Spring sports include baseball, boys tennis, golf, softball, and track.

Softball and baseball kicked off with morning practice at 6 a.m. The girls have the Iola High School gymnasium and the boys are at the Iola Middle School gymnasium. Boy’s tennis held their first practice after school at the tennis courts. Track was able to have their first practice after school on Monday, February 27, in the high school. Girl’s and boy’s golf was able to participate in practice after school on February 27.

It’s going to be a fun-filled spring season filled with so many different sports going on. Come on out this spring and enjoy watching your Mustangs and Fillies.
