IHS students earn honors at annual ICC event

Twenty-five Iola High students traveled to Independence on March 4 to put their talents to the test alongside students from 16 other area schools at the 43rd annual Independence Community College Competition Day.
There were 58 different categories, ranging from academics to fine arts. Business, math, science, art, human development, foreign language, journalism and other disciplines were among those represented in the contests.
