Last weekend, Clarie Moran, senior, was invited to YAM (Youth Art Month) competition in Topeka. Youth Art Month emphasizes the value of art on young people. It also encourages schools to be up to date with their art programs. YAM is celebrated each March in states all across the country. Schools are to choose one piece of art to present in Topeka. Clarie chose her “Sizzling Bacon” oil painting for the competition. Competition results have yet to be posted.
